Southern Italy

Were back! Last year we did the Best of Italy in 17 days. We didn't get to see the Vatican so we figured, why not go back? Why not another Rick Steve's tour? Well we did it, and the tour delivered some of our best memories ever.

New Friends

We found more than just a place to stay and things to see; we found a community of souls who share our love for travel and the beauty of Southern Italy.

Hi, Mark and Sally here. We entered our go years a couple of years ago and have been traveling as time allows. As fate would have it, we are pet free, kid free, and love Rick Steve's tours. So we are marching forward and moving across Europe for the foreseeable future. We round up Italy in 2026 with Southern Italy with some free days in Rome. My father walked through southern Italy during WII and  I feel blessed to see some of the places he visited during that time in  history. He made four beach landings after North Africa and lived to tell the tales of an incredible country, it's people, and  his love for Italian food..
